HBO uploaded two new True Detective promos that do the most with the short time they have to really ratchet up the intensity of what we’re going to see this season. Vince Vaughn is clearly the scummiest of the scum while the rest of the cast seems to be busy battling demons and trying to navigate the world of police work.
It’s already a much different feel than season one, so hopefully it’s enough to reach that lofty status (it won’t be, but a nice effort can go a long way).
